Aurora

A Bible companion for the in-between moments.

Tell Aurora what's on your heart — anxiety, a decision, gratitude, grief — and it finds scripture that genuinely meets you there. With context, application, and a question worth carrying.

iOS first, free at launch. We'll email once — no list resale, no spam.

1

Ask honestly

Anxious about a presentation? Wrestling with a decision? Just type what's going on, in the words you'd use to a friend. No formatting, no theology required.

2

Meet scripture in context

One specific verse. The situation it was written into. What it offers your moment. One concrete practice you can try tonight. Personalized to your tradition — Catholic, Evangelical, Orthodox, Mainline, or just exploring.

3

Read, reflect, return

Tap a verse to read the full chapter. Save what speaks. Journal what it means. A streak that meets you where you are — not where you wish you were.

What we deliberately don't do

No ads. No data sold to brokers. No verse-by-numbers gimmicks — every response is generated for your specific situation. Your journal stays on your phone unless you choose to sync it across your Apple devices via Sign in with Apple. And if what you share sounds like crisis, we route you to 988 before we route you to scripture — because the right answer to "I want to disappear" is a real person, not an AI.

The translation question

Verses come from the World English Bible (public domain) by default, and Douay-Rheims-Challoner for Catholic deuterocanonical books. The application notes are generated by Claude, by Anthropic, who doesn't train on this data. Future versions will offer ESV, NIV, NRSV, and others as licensing allows.
